Bus tour Ring of Kerry
Hi everyone, today I decided to share with you my favourite bus tour in Ireland : the Ring of Kerry. It was the first one I did but also the most beautiful lanscapes I've ever seen.
I was with two other au pair friends during the day trip which began in the morning around 11am in Killarney. We chose Paddywaggon bus tour company that does touristic day tour all around Ireland with starting points in different cities. Our bus driver was amazing, he really enjoys to share his knowledge about the region, myths and anecdotes. He commented the tour with his quotes, riddles and jokes.

Signification
The Ring of Kerry is literally a road ring in the bay at the west of Killarney. It does a round of Iveragh peninsula in County Kerry.
Services provided
The Paddywaggon starts from Killarney at 11am on the main parking spot next to the bus station. The bus is modern and with all necessary equipments. You can charge your phone with USB in the bus.
But meals and snacks are not included in the price. However, if there's a visit of a monument during the tour, it's paid by the company (that's not the same for all the buses companies).
The stops
The tour started in Killarney and goes through different landmarks and villages. First the bus passes through Killorglin known for its king goat and the festival which celebrate this tradition.
Another incredible step is the scenic drive along the Dingle peninsula. The driver makes some stops there to admire and take some pictures of the view.

Then the bus goes along Killarney national Park. A desertic space with lakes and the black valley. The best view of the trip was without any doubt Ladie's view with all its lakess.
The highlight of the show and the last stop was Torc Waterfall. A small walk in the forest and then after some stairs you can admire the waterfall.
Meal in the pub
We didn't plan on bringing our food during the tour so we had lunch in the pub next to the midday stop on the advice of our driver. The pub in Sneem village was typical and ready to receive us. I tried the soup of the day served with the traditional Irish soda brown bread and butter. I loved it and recommend to take this dish for a light and healthy lunch.
